I had the opportunity to present my research poster at the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) conference. My research focused on how young adults view diversity and representation in the U.S. healthcare workforce. Through a national survey of 100 young adults, I explored how factors like race, gender, age, and income influence opinions on diversity in healthcare. The results showed that race and ethnicity had the biggest impact on these views, while most participants agreed that diversity in healthcare is important. This experience helped me better understand the role diversity plays in patient care and gave me the chance to share research on a topic I care about.
